Phone Use on Shabbat During Wartime Sirens

With rocket sirens a daily concern, what’s the halacha on keeping a phone accessible on Shabbat for safety updates?

Q. Hi rabbi in terms of everything that is happening in Israel what are the Halachas for keeping your phone on/ carrying your phone? To here updates of sirens etc. on Shabbos

In all inhabited places you’ll hear the siren well, so there’s no need to walk around with a phone on. What is important is during the night, while sleeping, when you may not hear the siren, so keep your phone on near your bed on one of the “quiet channels” (e.g. Reshet Moreshet, Radio Kol Chai, Galei Yisrael…) which are totally silent over Shabbat, except when there are sirens and necessary security information.
