Continuing the discussion: is the shortage of dedicated Haredi units actually being addressed, or is that just rumor?
Q. My understanding is that there are not yet enough Charadi units and to make more will take time.
The IDF is in the process of opening many new units, and it’s important not to get one’s information via rumors or the media, but as anything so important, you should verify the constantly changing situation. There is such a lack now for so many combat soldiers, being that we need to prepare quickly for additional fronts and so many hundreds of combat boys have fallen, the needs of the Haredim and religious are taken very much into account.
